At Ahgoo, we are committed to protecting user privacy, ensuring security, and complying with all applicable global data protection laws. Our mission is to provide a safe, transparent, and legally compliant social media platform where users can connect, share, and engage across cultures while maintaining control over their personal data.

This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal data, your rights regarding that data, and our legal obligations under data protection laws, including but not limited to:

Ahgoo Software Assets Holdings LLC (“Ahgoo,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your personal information when you interact with our platform, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the “Platform”).
 

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Platform. 

We collect information directly from you, from third parties, and automatically through your use of the Platform.

A. Information You Provide to Us:
- Registration Information: Age, username, password, language, and contact details (email or phone number).
- Profile Details: Name, social media account information, profile images.
- User-Generated Content (UGC): Comments, photos, videos, audio, event posts, and other content you upload or broadcast (“User Content”).
- Payment Information: Stripe or other third-party payment details.
- Contacts: Names and phone numbers from your device (with permission) and/or social network contacts.
- Verification Data: To confirm account authenticity.
- Preferences: Opt-in choices, communication settings, and survey responses.
- Promotions & Contests: Information such as age, gender, likeness, and preferences.
- Correspondence: Messages or inquiries sent to us.

B. Information We Obtain from Other Sources:
- Social Media integrations.
- Third-Party Services.
- Other Users.
- Publicly Available Data.

C. Information We Collect Automatically:
- Usage Data: Browsing history, search history, content interactions.
- Device Information: IP address, device identifiers, OS version, etc.
- Location Data: Approximate (IP/SIM) and precise (GPS, if enabled).
- Messages: Content and metadata.
- Metadata from UGC.
- Cookies & Tracking Technologies.

We process your information to:
1. Provide, maintain, and improve services.
2. Personalize your content and ad experience.
3. Facilitate payments and transactions.
4. Support social features.
5. Promote the Platform.
6. Conduct analytics and product development.
7. Enforce our Terms of Service.
8. Comply with laws.
9. Announce contest winners.
10. Combine data across devices and services.

We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. However, certain data sharing for targeted advertising may be considered a “sale” or “share” under some privacy laws. If applicable, you may exercise your rights through our “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” process. We may share it with:

- Service Providers & Business Partners for payment processing, hosting, analytics, advertising, content delivery, and security.
- Within Our Corporate Group with subsidiaries, affiliates, and our parent company.
- During a Business Transfer including mergers, acquisitions, or asset sales.
- For Legal Reasons to comply with applicable law, enforce our terms, or protect safety.
- With Your Consent. 

- In Public Areas of the Platform where information is viewable by other users.

- Through Social Integrations if you choose to share content to third-party services.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email policies.security@ahgoo.com.

- Cookies: Disable in your browser/device settings.
- Location Tracking: Disable GPS.
- Marketing Emails: Unsubscribe link.
- Ad Tracking: Limit Ad Tracking on iOS or Opt out of Interest-Based Ads on Android.
We do not respond to Do Not Track signals.

We and our partners use cookies, pixels, and similar tools to store preferences, measure usage, and deliver tailored ads. Some partners may combine your data with other sources. Their privacy practices are not covered by this policy.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no system is 100% secure. We are not responsible for security breaches outside our control.

We retain information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods are determined based on legal, operational, and security requirements. You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to these obligations.

The Platform is not intended for children under the minimum legal age in their country. We do not knowingly collect such data and will delete it if discovered.

If you access the Platform from outside the U.S., your data may be transferred to and processed in countries with different laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform or other means required by law.

All payment processing services on the Platform — including peer-to-peer transfers, event payments, and purchases — are provided by Stripe, Inc. or other authorized third-party payment processors (“Payment Providers”).
 

- No Funds Held by Ahgoo: Ahgoo does not directly receive, hold, or store your funds. All monetary transactions occur through our Payment Providers.
- Financial Information: Collected and processed directly by the Payment Provider. Ahgoo does not have access to full payment details.
- Identity Verification: Payment Providers may require you to provide identification documents for compliance purposes.
- Fraud & Security Monitoring: Ahgoo receives limited transaction metadata for processing, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution.
- Third-Party Privacy Practices: Your use of the Payment Provider’s services is subject to their privacy policy. See: https://stripe.com/privacy.
- Disputes: Must be handled directly with the Payment Provider or transaction counterparty.

The Platform includes messaging functionality (text, audio, and video) between users. We collect and process:
- The content of your messages.
- Metadata such as timestamps, sender/recipient IDs, and delivery/read status.
- Media files shared in chat (photos, videos, audio messages).
 

Messages sent to other users will be accessible to them. Ahgoo does not monitor private messages for content except as required by law or to enforce our Terms of Service (e.g., in cases of abuse, fraud, or safety concerns). Users are responsible for the information they share in messages.

The Platform allows users and influencers to create, promote, and join events — both online and in-person. We may collect:
- Event details (title, location, description, date/time).
- Participant lists, RSVPs, and attendance data.
- Media content and posts related to the event.
 

Event organizers may receive limited personal data of participants as necessary to manage the event. Ahgoo is not responsible for the actions of event organizers and encourages users to review any additional privacy terms provided by them.

If you engage with influencer content, ads, or branded events, we may share aggregated or de-identified analytics data with advertisers or influencers, in accordance with applicable privacy laws. These reports do not include personally identifiable information unless you provide it directly (e.g., by registering for a sponsored event).

To maintain a safe community:
- We may use automated tools (including AI/ML) to detect and remove harmful, abusive, or illegal content.
- Reports made by users may include your profile information and related content for review.
- We may temporarily suspend or permanently remove accounts violating our Terms of Service.

Ahgoo collects and processes user data under the following legally recognized justifications:
- User Consent – When you explicitly agree to provide personal data for specific purposes, such as personalized ads, location tracking, or participation in platform analytics.
- Contractual Necessity – When processing data is required to deliver services (e.g., account creation, event participation, payment processing).
- Legitimate Business Interests – To enhance the platform, prevent fraud, provide user support, and optimize content recommendations while maintaining user rights.
- Legal Compliance – When data processing is required by law, regulatory bodies, or law enforcement agencies.
 

Users can withdraw consent at any time in Privacy Settings. However, withdrawal does not retroactively affect lawful data processing conducted before the withdrawal.

Basic Users:
- Can create and share content (text, images, videos).
- Engage with others through likes, comments, and messaging.
- Participate in free events.

Data collected: Full Name, Email, Phone Number (mandatory but not shared), Gender (mandatory but not shared), Date of Birth (visible only to friends), Country and Heritage Information (displayed as rotating flags), up to 5 Hobbies & Interests, Device and Location Data (if enabled), Phone Contacts (if granted permission), and Gallery & Media Access (if granted).

Compliance Notes: Explicit consent is required before collecting sensitive data like contacts, gallery, and location. Users can revoke permissions at any time. We do not share personal data such as heritage, gender, birthday, or contacts with advertisers.

Business Users & Influencers:
- Can run paid ads, promote events, access analytics, monetize content.
- Additional data collected: Advertising performance metrics, monetization and payment history, audience segmentation data.
Linked Accounts: Business and Influencer accounts may have linked basic accounts for personal use.

If a data breach occurs:
- Ahgoo will notify affected users within 72 hours, if required by law.
- Affected users will receive a detailed report on the breach.
- Immediate actions will be taken to contain and mitigate the breach.

Ahgoo only discloses user data in response to valid legal requests (e.g., subpoenas, court orders). Users will be notified of government data requests unless legally prohibited.

Users retain ownership of content they create but grant Ahgoo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote it within the Platform. Users may report copyright infringement claims under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). Any content that violates our Community Guidelines may be removed without notice.

Our platform uses AI to recommend content, detect fraud, and personalize user experiences. Users can request a review of AI-driven decisions affecting their content or account status. No fully automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects are made without human oversight.
